About Renata

Renata has over 20 years of experience working with a diverse client population. She is warm, empathic and always strives to provide a safe and non-judgemental environment for her clients. Her therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to meet an individuals needs. Renata aims to help her clients gain a better understanding of the constraints that prevent them from leading a more satisfying and fulfilling life. This involves facilitating a deeper understanding of emotions, thoughts and behaviours, and their connection to both past and present experiences. Renata values the therapeutic relationship, and its importance in encouraging positive change.

Renata is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society, and holds specialist endorsements in Clinical and Forensic Psychology.

Renata has supported adults and adolescents facing various challenges, such as, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, emotional dysregulation and trauma. Her prior work includes:

She has demonstrated expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of complex mental health presentations, including, complex trauma, dual diagnoses, offending behaviours and severe mental illness. Renata has provided mental health services to culturally diverse populations, notably during her time at UNSW where she worked closely with international students.
